Battery works, radio, not so much
Using an old Baofeng UV-5R I can reach the nearest repeater from inside my house, and be heard relatively clearly. This radio, the hesinate whatever, other hams can hear me trying to talk, but the sound is so garbled they can't understand me. I tried different antennas and got barely better reception. Lesson learned. this radio was a waste of money.

Excellent triband transceiver.
It comes with large capacity battery and good price.

A lot of radio for little money
First Tri-Band handheld I've ever owned and I carry it everywhere. I choose the Hessenate HT 5RX3 over the Yaesu FT60. If the manufacturer would make 33cm and 23cm equipment, they would rule the amateur radio hobby in the U.S.A. (hint hint) I would like to see this radio capable of receiving up to at least 999 Mhz. Then I would only need to carry the Hessenate. I did have a recharging problem. Of anyone else has hit this recharging snag, please post your fix. Great Radio!

Like a Toy, not really a HAM radio
IT is hard to program.Did not come with a lot instrucciones, you have to navigate thru google to find how to program into the memory. Also I download CHIRP program and try yo program thru the SW but it didnt works.Looks like a baofeng, maybe the same HW but diferent. If you want yo usé as walkie talkie itz OK, but if you like to make a lot of changes it a pain.
