Fish don't starve when I'm away for work :)
Life saver. Does exactly what it says. Once you figure out you have to use a low amp charger for the unit to recognize and charge (ask me how I know) they seem to have an amazing battery life. Still have all 3 bars on both units have been running 3 to 4 months.

Awesome feeder
Awesome feeder. This is my third one to purchase. Not because they fail, but because they are good and I have several of them in use. Very easy to use. The programming on other models I've had is absolutely horrible. This is intuitive. They hold a LOT of dry pellets and the USB charge lasts for a long time. (I haven't charged mine in a few months.) Only minor complaint is that if you use really small food, it is tough to get the trap door to close super small. Oh, and the price is more than fair.

Good auto feeder
I really like this product. I’ve bought a second one because my dog chewed the first one while charging it. Long lasting charge, could have it plugged in at all times if desired.I have dropped mine inside the tank a few times and it still works. First time, I just let it dry out, charged it and it was like new. Second time no issues at all.I do wish the food storage bit was bigger, but it works great! The clamp to attach it to the side of the tank is a bit goofy, but it works just fine.Thinking about getting a couple more in the future. Highly recommend!!

Works normal but you don't need batteries
I have been using many automatic fitters over the years but it was always the struggle to make sure that they are fresh batteries before leaving home. This rechargeable theater solve this problem. The only problem is that us it doesn't have batteries it's pretty light and if you feel it with a lot of food it will become nose heavy. If you using the mount, it will not be a problem but if you just lay it down on the aquarium cover it will be tilting forward.

Very easy to setup and fill
This is my 2nd feeder purchased. I use one for flakes and one for small pellet food. The feed is very precise and allows me to feed while on trips away from home

Second one to fail
This is a product that I received yesterday as a replacement for the same one that was purchased April 23rd. 2023. The original unit worked very well with no problems until a week ago when it died, no digital screen information so I tried to charge the battery, which I do every three months, even when it does not need it, the battery seems to last forever. Anyway it failed to turn on or show the battery status on the display, so I ordered this replacement which I said was delivered yesterday.Upon opening the box and before programing the times for feeding I thought that I had better charge the unit as the battery indicator showed 2 bars (half charge). Having it on charge for around 18 hours, from when I started yesterday till late morning there is no change in the charge indicator.I have ordered a different make but this is a battery operated unit instead of rechargeable so I will see how that performs.

Works as expected, Very good for feeding flake food. Test first!
I was worried about using flake food but it works beautifully. I did need to test it before leaving. It took a couple of tests to get the opening right for the flake food or it released too much. Now that I know where to set the opening we have used it about every other weekend over a year and for 10 days on one of our vacations. It doesn't need to be recharged yet. I am impressed that this product works exactly as expected with no issues. In my experience that is a rare thing to find online.

Good while the battery would take a charge, keep an eye on it
So had ours for bout 2 yrs and the battery has started having a degraded recharging ability. seems like now it'll hold a charge for maybe a week, unsure. Now it used to work great, and i'm unsure the proper expectation of the battery. For the price, considering this to be less of a 'forever' device and more of a temporary commodity may be the more applicable mindset. However, you can keep it plugged in so that is an alternative to the battery issue.ease of use: First time i had to reset the Time and feeding presets i had to dig out the manual, so may not be intuitive to everyone, but after a few times of that (due to battery failing charge) i got the hange of it. It isnt hard by any means, you just might not 'guess' how to do it without the manual your first couple of times. Its similar to working with our old digital watches, just got to know the button to hold down and what button to press next.. not a huge deal.you can set 4 preset feeding times or leave some of the presets "blank" to limit to just one or more feeding times. And there is a 'manual' button for an on-demand feeding.Food dispensing: its just about setting the door opening .. pretty straightforward but how much comes out will depend on the size & weight of food and how much you have the door open. its just comes out due to gravity. would be good to hit the manual button over an empty container and see how the food comes out so you can make adjustments while not impacting your tank. I believe Less food is preferable to too much.*there have been a couple of times when i hit Manual that the chamber did not do a full rotation (thus not feeding), i have not yet observed if this ever happens during the auto-feeds but may be something to watch for.summary we've had for nearly 2 yrs and have not lost any of our tank life due to food even with its recent battery issues or if it ever is failing to do a rotation. however we mainly have shrimp, snails with just a few fish and plenty of 'greenery' (healthy algae) that is also providing nutrition.
