Uni the Unicorn and the Dream Come True

This book is just as good as the first one! No matter if others think that what you believe In is real or not, believing in something as strong as you do is magical and it's a happiness that spreads. I got this book for my niece for her birthday and she loved it just as much as the first one. Both books are a must buy for that Unicorn believer in your life ❤️🦄🌈. I was expecting a board book, as my first Uni the Unicorn book is a board book. I was assuming this one would match, but I honestly didn't pay much attention, I just got excited when I saw the next one and bought it (my girls LOVE Uni the Unicorn). Really no big deal, just not what I expected, and we have to be careful that baby doesn't get ahold of it like she can the board book. However, it is a GREAT hardcover book and comes with a dust jacket (which I don't understand the purpose of for kids, other than to get ripped or lost), BUT overall, a great and beautiful book, and a cute continuation of the story. Would definitely recommend!

I'm a HUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE fan of Amy Krouse Rosenthal and ESPECIALLY Bridgette Bariger's BEAUTIFUL illustrations. I want to just display all the pages! The story is so sweet as well. We have the first Uni the Unicorn book and have been waiting for the sequel. My 5yo loves all things Unicorn but fell especially in love with the story of Uni and the little girl, it may help that she looks a lot like the little girl, but we read and re-read almost every day. :)

After my daughter fell in love with the first Uni book, we were really excited to see the next Uni book had been published. While the illustrations are magnificent, the story was mediocre at best. It was short, boring, and ended abruptly. My daughter and I were disappointed.

Really wanted to like this book because we loved the first one, but it seemed really thoughtless and quickly written. Pictures are cute though!

Both of these books are good. The basic message is to believe in the impossible, even when others around you don’t. I do wish the author had picked something other than unicorns to base this around, soothing that actually is possible. My daughter loves unicorns, so she can’t get enough of it, but the book is just ok and I feel could inadvertently be counter-productive. I could be over thinking it a bit, but I’m also one of those lame parents that doesn’t press the idea of Santa Claus.

Great illustrations, but I don't like the story nearly as much as the original. Would definitely recommend the first--would only recommend this to those who loved loved loved the first and/or who are very interested in unicorns. My daughter is both, so I've read this book several times.

What a beautiful book and story. We bought Uni the Unicorn and my Granddaughter loves it so much that I ordered her this one Uni the Unicorn and the Dream come true! Such nice board books heavy duty and beautiful bright pictures inside along with the cutest story! I would definitely buy this again for a gift. You won't be disappointed!

We absolutely love the Uni the unicorn books. It really inspires my daughter's imaginative play and she wants to read the stories over and over again. Besides the wonderful storyline, the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, so colorful and pretty!

My daughter was so thrilled to get this follow-on book and she absolutely adores it.

My granddaughter loved this book

Not as good as the first book. Also, it is a different format - not a board book, but a larger sized hard back, which was a bit disappointing.

Si tratta del secondo volume di una mini-serie (credo che il terzo sia in preparazione), per cui non prendetelo se non dopo o insieme con il primo. Storia poetica ma anche etica (l'importanza della fiducia nelle proprie idee e convinzioni, anche quando gli altri ti deridono per questo), disegni al tempo stesso semplici e sofisticati.

Este libro, la segunda parte de la serie, es tierno y divertido, pero el final indica que habrá por lo menos un libro más... Creo que la historia pudo desarrollarse más, en este libro.Sin embargo, se disfruta la lectura y las coloridas ilustraciones.
