Striff Aluminum Mobile Phone is extremely easy to use. Product is very durable made of metal hence can take load and does not fall at all. Definitely recommended for daily work. Also, it is very ideal when doing video calls as you can keep the phone / tablet on the stand and do your work.

More adjustable and light weight design. Rubber pads for phone resting and stand resting. Everything is OK.No difficulties in charging the phone as the wire goes in-between gap. Aluminum black anodizing is adding elegant to the product. Nice surface finish and texture.

Edit: I take back what i said about the stand. One of the hinges has come loose completely. The stand cannot stay upright, even without the phone on it. I would not recommend this product anymore.Original Comment: This mobile stand is the best I have used. I had previously bought cheaper aluminium stands, thinking that it wont make much of a difference, but they all either had really loose hinges or crooked mounts that made the phone tilt. Very, very annoying. So I decided to invest a little more and purchase this Striff stand, and I have to say, it was well worth it. The size and weight may be a bit higher than the other stands I have used, but the build quality is far superior. It also looks very elegant. I think that justifies the price, which is still cheaper than many other stands of the same build. All in all, its a really good purchase.

I just got the STRIFF 2 days back. I am not sure of the durability but it is sturdy . It is slightly bigger than i thought it would be. I think it can support a tab also. When i read about the reviews for the mobile stand someone mentioned it not wide enough to hold a mobile which has a thick cover. That is why I chose this particular model. It suits my purpose perfectly.UpdateAfter using it I find that it tends to get loose at the hinges.

I have used the phone holder a few times in the last month and here are my experiential comments:1. Thick aluminium plates on 3 sides feel sturdy.2. The springs at the 2 hinges are quite strong, so even if the centre of gravity of phone is not lowest, the hinges do not give way, which is very nice.3. The wide base has not allowed it to topple, however I position the hinges, again very nice.4. It has 4 rubber feet, and 2 rubber supports for the phone to rest on, thus avoiding scratches on table or phone.5. Folds neatly and quite flat to be carried daily in my backpack to office. Much better than the ones that don't fold that are just a bit cheaper. This small upgrade is worth the difference.6. Its small, but perfect for the largest of phones (works well for OP3T and Notes8, just to get a perspective), don't use tabs so cannot comment.7. Anodized black aluminium is prone to scratches over a period of time, and as a rule I recommend silver so that scratches are inconspicuous.If you can invest Rs 100-200 more than the much less durable plastic holders, go for this, should last you a few years.

The stand is good. Aluminum with a bezel kind of lining that makes it look pretty. Just one thing that was missing is padding at the bottom of the stand and also for holding the phone. This is awesome but incase if it is possible, the manufacturer should consider creating iron stands as they would be more durable.
