UPDATE: Although there are many things I have liked about this vest, consistent lack of dependability of the zippers isn't tolerable. The zipper broke after a few months on my first purchase. Well, it happens. I ordered a replacement. On the first wear, the zipper on the brand new one started separating from the base. Customer service was not good. When I contacted them, they did respond--letting me know it was Amazon's problem so to arrange it with them. Okay. I will. I'll also seek another vendor.I LOVE this vest! We don't have sidewalks in our neighborhood, so when I walk my dog on a road with traffic--day or night--I want to be SEEN! I also like having my phone and a few other accessories, so pockets are a major plus. Here are the many reasons this vest is AWESOME.1) It is so well made--with quality materials and every seam even and strong.2) The design actually fits a woman's body. I'm not trying to bring glamour to the 'hood, but I don't want some big, square, clunky man's vest flopping around on me either. The zipper is strong and looks nice, and the fit is perfect--comfortable and fitted without being tight.3) The color is vibrant neon yellow, plus the reflective strips--so if a car hits me, it's because they meant to, not because they didn't see me.4) As mentioned, the four pockets are perfect. They're just the right size--large enough to hold my stuff, but not so big they get in the way. They have Velcro closures, so it's easy to batten down the hatches.5) Even walking or running (wogging?) for an hour or more, this doesn't chafe under the arms like some tanks & singlets I've had. Super comfy.6) The price. Have you priced running vests lately? They're crazy expensive. This is a screamin' deal.This vest isn't advertised as a running/biking vest, so it just goes way beyond the call of duty for its main purpose. But if I could make it even a teensy bit better, I'd ask for a back pocket--making it perfect for biking also. Good quality. The zipper is plastic but it’s very sturdy. I was nervous about that because of the previous reviews but the zipper is sturdy. I ordered a large and I’m a DDD. I like to wear it with the zipper midway but it does zip all the way up. The material is very good quality. I am a truck driver and the vests that the company provides are usually too big and it they fit like a potato sack. I like this fit better and it’s very comfortable.

Glad it wasn’t skin tight like the product image. I’m a consistent small and ordered that size not sure if I could fit layers but looks like I will. I really wanted the shoulders to fit so I got the size based on that (S=15.5”) and it still sorta worked with my bigger hips (it does ride up in the back). It would help to list hip measurement for the sizes considering this is for women and the length goes past the bum!

Vest is very cute and fits perfectly! If you're worried about it running too small order a size up. I'm 5'2", 150lbs and I ordered the medium. I haven't worn it to work yet so I can't speak on durability which is why I gave it 4 stars but the material feels strong. There are a few loose strings here and there which can be trimmed with scissors if they bother you but other than that I have no complaints.UPDATE:So after roughly one year of use the first thing to fall apart were some of the pockets, a huge hole tore into one of them and another just started to spontaneously tear on its own - I'd steer clear of putting anything pointy in the pockets because what tore mine were the pointy edges from my lip balm, keys are fine though. The reflective part of the vest has peeled and the vest doesn't hold up well in the washer so I personally wouldn't recommend washing. The zipper is still intact (surprising due to others complaints of the zipper being the first to go) and the elastic bands that give this vest its cute comfortable fit have held up as well. The part of the vest that holds pens will literally only fit pens and pencils - it won't fit a marker without you having to force it in and tear a bit of the thread.I still like the vest but I'd recommend replacing it at least every six months but preferably every four due to the fact that you can't exactly wash this without damaging it quicker unless you have a super gentle washer with no agitator.

***edit edit edit*** yep each vest lasts about 6 months, it's sad how expensive it is and how low quality it ends up being. Pockets with holes, the piping at the bottom coming undone, the velcro at the pockets coming off etc. In the name of having a nice fitting vest I guess it costs a pretty penny.**edit edit** lower to 3 stars, originally i had ordered an XL in yellow and it was very slim fit, couldnt fit gloves in and was short on my torso. so I ordered an XXL in orange color and it just gained like 2-4 inches in every direction. Too big and of course the piping was coming off and an usual amount of lose threads. This is like, a 6$ quality but because womens are so rare the prices go up. oh well, going to order another orange in an XL when it is in stock.*edit:* I had holes in pockets and bottom piping was coming undone 4 months in ): stopped using because it looked trashyIf i wasnt camera shy i would have taken a photo! I want to look my best with a good fitting vest! tired of oversized mens vest gettting me caught on extrusions and i dont want to look frumpy at work. I am 5'11 190lbs and i bought the L XL and the shoulders are narrow enough for my broad shoulders. pockets look great too i cant wait to use this every day. there is no shame trying to look good at work!
