I wanted a small power strip with surge protection that included the adaptors for Peru. I found this Ceptics Power Travel Strip to be exactly what I needed. In addition to the adaptors for both plug styles used in Peru, this had the surge protection and accepts both regular (US) plugs as well as USB and USB type C, for my mobile devices. I like that it does not plug directly into the wall, yet it takes up very little space in my bag.I am not an expert, but this product seems well made to me. I worried a bit about the reviewers who reported problems with the quality of this device; that it stopped working, got too hot or even caught fire. But I realized they assumed this particular Celtics products would convert the power from 220 to 110, which it states clearly it is not designed to do (and I did not need that). Don't let the scary reviews resulting from user error scare you away from this product (unless your appliances require 110 voltage - in that case, do not buy this one unless you use it with a power converter).

I especially like that this is small and lightweight. The cord is a bit short, but a longer cord would weigh more. We recently used this on a trip to Cuba. We snapped in the appropriate prongs and plugged it in. We were able to charge 2 phones, an iPad and an Apple Watch all from one outlet.

This adapter is very easy to use - covers MOST countries around the world. Two reasons it didn't receive a 5-star review: When it arrived the various type adapters were jumbled out of their box slots. It took me several minutes to put them into place to be sure I had all of them. Also, there were 2 labeled Type N - one of which I was pretty sure was a Type C for Europe.The positive side of this is that I reached out to Ceptics with photos prior to my trip to Israel and Turkey (that was the one in question. I've just returned from that trip, and it turns out in the end I didn't need the one in question).Having said all this, Ceptics was responsive and mailed me a non-labeled adapter that I can use to put in my kit. I have simply used a Sharpie to identify it.BTW - 2 of us used the adapter only for our phones. We could've used it for a tablet or other electronic devices (i.e. hairdryer), but that turned out to not be necessary.All in all, I'd say a good product and customer service.

Received the product on time and it exceeded my expectations. It comes with a booklet with every country listed and what type of plug they use. Super easy to use, even my 8 year old can switch between the different outlets with no problem. Compact and easy to travel with. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Love to travel with this. Gives you more charging ability

We got this for an upcoming Africa/Madagascar trip, but recently used it throughout Europe- 4 countries. No issues whatsoever. Comes with a little carry bag so we just carried the adapters we needed for the trip. We expect to get a lot of use from them. Would have preferred a set that has the adapter on one side and the ability to plug in a USA cord on the other side, so we wouldn't have to haul around the larger part that the adapter connects to. But it was useful in that it has 2 outlets and 2 USB ports so can charge multiple things at once. Had no issues with it not having a current converter. Can't use appliances that won't accept 220V. So usually no hairdriers. But my curling iron had the 110/220 symbol and it worked fine. Phones charged without problems, even if left overnight.

Took this on a recent teip to Europe. In one hotel, the bedside plug was somewhat hidden so having the small extension cord made life a whole lot easier to access the outlets.

La caja trae los 6 conectores de la imagen y una bolsita para guardarlo todo.

First trip with the charger. The guide that comes with it ensured the right plug adapters were brought. One issue. The USB chargers didn't work though. Tried to get a replacement but it's not available at the price we paid. Decided to keep it because it is useful, even without working USB chargers.The storage bag needs to be larger. All those plug adapters that come with the kit don't fit in it. Most you could get in the bag is the adapter unit and a couple of plugs, or almost all the plug attachments

Has all of the attachments one would need and plenty of ports for charging multiple devices. I was even asked by other travellers where I bought this!
