RiedelSuperleggero Burgundy Grand Cru Glass, Clear

I’ve had this glass for almost 4 years. It does an excellent job with Pinot noir, champagne, and most reds. It does such a great job with champagnes I’ve been able to be quite satisfied with less expensive bottles. I use this almost every other night. Yes, it is a delicate wine glass, I expected to have broken it by now. But it has survived and has made me very happy and I believe has saved me money. Well worth the initial cost of investment.

I purchased this glass 3 weeks ago. It's a fantastic glass for hot-weather varietals, and it's very good for pinot noir as well. Unfortunately I broke the glass while washing/wiping the TOP of the glass (the rim and just below it) while holding it at the center of the bowl. I've used Riedel glassware for many decades and they've always lasted many years, although I've broken a couple at the stem which is usually their weak point, and by other means. I've never broken one in this manner, but I shouldn't be too surprised it broke because the glass is incredibly thin.

It took almost 1 month for the product to arrive. When it arrived it was broken. I resent it back to sell in Mud November and I still have not received a refund.

Superleggero is a magical glass! Now I can not go back to any other glass to have sauvignon blanc. I must say that the magic effect for Loir is not as big as the one for Burgnudy or Bordeaux glass.... But I still love it and I will enjoy my sauvignon blac throughout the summer with the Superlegegero. I am so glad that Amazon US had this glass and was able to ship it to Japan.

These glasses are very fragile!, in fact the packing is often insufficient and I had two returns on these. But for the red burgundy collector ... perfect for that special occasion.

Beautiful, feather-light and well-balanced glass. Tube packaging looks and feels premium. Shape and size are similar to Fatto A Mano pieces yet Superleggero is much lighter and finer. I am very happy and excited about enjoying fine Riesling wines from this glass.

Die Gläser sind klasse - allerdings preislich auch recht hoch angesiedelt. Alternative dazu sind die Standard-Sommelier-Gläser, die aus meiner Sicht vom Aroma/Geschmack nicht viel Unterschied machen..
