Fun Flier!
I've always been fascinated by RC flying, but I have never been in a place where enough people do it to find a teacher. Instead I tried many times to learn on my own with little success and a lot of broken aircraft. Eventually I got a simple RC flying simulator for my PC and practiced with that until I had the reflexes to push the sticks in the correct direction without thinking about it. Then I bough this F959 Sky King RTF.The box arrived promptly and the assembly was easy to accomplish, but I had difficulty syncing the transmitter to the receiver correctly until I fully charged the battery in the plane. After that it synced instantly and reliably. Plug in the plane battery first, then turn on the transmitter. After a series of beeps from the transmitter you are ready to verify the controls are correct and go.This is a very light weight model so you must fly in nearly calm winds. There isn't enough control authority to overcome an errant gust... but the same limited control authority makes it forgiving for the beginner. It took me over a week of waiting to get my day when I had both the opportunity and the winds were down. That finally happened today.I had about 15 minutes of great flight time before the building breeze was testing my novice abilities to their limits. I actually returned with the battery still strong, ( you can fly it very well with the power off or reduced, ) and the plane in one piece. A victory for me!The top mounted folding pusher-prop is bound to save a lot of damage during unscheduled landings, but it does make the model sensitive to trim with any power changes. Practice changing the power slowly until you get the hang of it and can co-ordinate with the elevator and elevator trim. For people having trouble with the model at launch first verify that you have correct control motion. i.e. right stick back = elevator up. If not re-bind the transmitter. Then I suggest trying a little less power at launch (it will fly fine on 1/2 to 3/4 power) and be 100% sure you are tossing it straight out (not up or down) and also straight into any wind you may have. Mine climbed surprisingly strongly right out of my hand. The controls are gentle but the plane is still spirited enough that I was able to execute a couple of double loops. Lots of fun! I would highly recommend this to the novice pilot.

No battery or charger. F.
Sold as "all you need to fly in one box." Ostensibly that includes a battery and charger. The box claims they're in there. They weren't. So someone pillaged my box for the some gear and sold me a glorified styrofoam glider for $80.I'm sure the plane is great. Just don't buy it from these clowns.

Great beginner airplane!
Pretty good beginner airplane, bought this for my pops before he goes to EDF jets. Anyways here are my pros and cons.Pros:• easy assembly• easy to fly• actually has enough power to fly even with winds of up to 7mph in which I did fly and glide(really fun)• durability, crashed it more than 10x already although those are only due to learning the aircraft. Once I did know how to fly it then everything is kosher.Cons:• the first package the rudder was damaged so I asked for a replacement right away which they did replace.• the tabs holding the flight controls easily disconnects so while flying it my elevators didn’t move. It wasn’t a radio connection error but the tab just disconnected easily. Anyways the answer to that was just hot glue.Overall for the price I’d recommend buying it as a first beginner rc plane just because you’ll get longer flight time with this as you fly up and just turn off power. You’ll glide in the air, specially head wind. I bought the volantex ranger 400 for pops and yes it’s good but gets easily pushed by the slightest wind, I got the ranger 600 and it’s better but still gets pushed easily. This one is bigger than the previously 2 mentioned so it flies better. I’d recommend buying the 3 way charger and batteries so you’ll be having more flight time. Great practice for flight orientation and basic flight pattern. I did try and do loops at high rates but it would let me due to the gyro it has in it. Enjoy the flying guys!

Limited capability
Control surface movement is highly limited, it’s definitely a very entry level aircraft. Don’t expect it to survive long. The motor is powerful and can allow it to climb quickly, and so long as it’s not constantly on it last for a while. It will not do loops or rolls, and is fairly stable. If the CG is off it will not be controllable for long. In hindsight i should have spent a bit more money on a more durable and maneuverable aircraft. These can be fun for a little while or be a decent plane to teach someone the absolute basics of RC flight however.

👍 greatest ever
Very affordable, sturdy, flies good, it can take a good crash and still fly. Great learning plane. Great price!Go for it. You won't find a better deal. Maybe you will but I did not find a better deal.

Almost Lost It
Nice looking and pretty durable but Transmitter and Receiver lost communication with each other too much. Luckily I was able to get it to respond and turn around before it was too far gone. Pretty disappointed as I have been wanting this style of plane.
