Superb, fresh beans that cook up wonderfully; clean with no dirt, rocks, or mold.
These are superb, fresh beans that cook up wonderfully. They were done within an hour, tender without being mushy. The beans maintained their shape. They made a delicious stock that can be served with the beans or can be poured off and saved for other dishes. They can be eaten as a main dish or used in other dishes (such as soups and stews). The beans had no rocks, dirt, mold, or bad beans, no splits, no crumbs. They were perfect. Out of three bags of beans, not one bean did I have to discard. I am happily reordering a second time. When I added these to a vegetable soup and cooked for another hour, I was a little concerned that they might turn a bit mushy, but they didn't. They were still perfect.

good quality beans for Greek Bean Soup
First time I have ordered this brand of beans. I am not disappointed. These beans cook up well. I put 1/2 cooked beans in a food processor for a very thick and smooth Greek bean soup.
