12v 8ah CA1280 AGM SLA Sealed Lead Acid Battery GT12080-HG - Premium Replacement for PX12072 for for AT&T, Centurylink and Most Other FTTH Systems

I purchased this as a replacement backup battery for my Verizon Fios panel in the garage. Replaces Portalac PX12072-HG (12V, 7.2 Ah). Perfect fit with identical dimensions and also the same F2 terminals (0.25" wide instead of 3/16" wide for F1 terminals).Fingers crossed that the battery life is reasonable. I have had trouble in the past with depleted batteries on Amazon, so I only do buy from them when I must purchase online.Note: The seller and manufacturer's website lists the height as 3.94", which is the total height including terminals. The case height is 3.70".

I left longevity rating blank since I just installed it. I last one lasted more than two years, we’ll have to see. The only issue I had with installing was this battery pins were somewhat wider than the one I replaced, so attaching the battery was not straight forward.

It was for some battery backup shst for our internet that we ended up finding out we had in a hall closet.... seriously🤬 you don’t know annoying until you hear a daily BEEEEP!... randomly every 30/45/hour.... but anyway... it’s a battery and it works 🤷‍♂️

It appears to be working as the alarm retired when I installed it.How long will it last? Time will tell.Haven't experienced a power failure to truly test it.

Lasted less than 12 months, prior one lasted 3 years.

My FIOS internet panel was beeping constantly due to the low battery life. I searched and found this battery on Amazon. Replaced the faulty battery with this and the alarm no longer beep. So it solved my problem and fit the slot perfectly.
