the Battle for Perfect

Gripping, Creepy and Altogether Perfect!
OK, so how do I start? I really loved the first two in the series and this one- as much as I was sad to say goodbye to Perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the trilogy.Words cannot describe how I was on the edge of my seat, laughing and crying, smiling, gasping, groaning, sighing, holding my breath (and, yes, nearly vomiting more than once) with Violet and Boy the whole way through. It had me gripped from the very first chapter, and I just had to read it all in one day, it's so hard to put down! The characters aren't the invincible people with powers and nothing but courage you might find elsewhere. They are more realistic, simply normal (ish) humans with happy/sad/angry reactions and states that we can all relate to. The Divided Soul gave me the creeps, but that was nothing beside my utter revulsion at the zombies!I think anyone who has A. a big imagination, B. a hard time,or C. the need for some company should definitey read it. Thos creepy, mysterious finale to Violet and Boy's daring adventures will keep you turning the pages top-speed and is a must-have for every childs bookshelf.

Bittersweet last visit to Perfect!
LOVED this last book in this most fabulous trilogy . Helena Duggan has outdone the level of creepiness and pervading sinister tension that follows the reader at every page turn . Violet and Boy continue to make a formidable team as old enemies gather once more . Absolutely captivating, nail biting and has several heart stopping moments of disbelief and sighs of utter relief along the way. Saying goodbye to the inhabitants of Perfect was never going to be easy ( the book's ending will undo your resolve not to cry) but this was an epic, thrilling last adventure to be on.

A gripping 3rd book, so sad the series has ended...
This was definitely a more enjoyable read than the second book and I enjoyed the overall plot a lot more. It was engaging, adventurous and full of heart and imagination! I loved the characterisation of every character, major or minor, appearing in this story. The plot was captivating and deliciously dark. This third and finale book is just fantastic, non-stop from the get go and had me in tears at the end! A highly recommended 5 star read.

The final
The third book in a lovely series but the same themes being dragged out. The first two are better but like Harry Potter these books are good and they sell so the publishers drag more money out of the reader and no doubt the author. It’s well written and fun to read but not as good as the first two.

A brilliant ending to this incredible series!
Brilliant. It was a brilliant way to say goodbye to this series. Jam packed with science, zombies, the characters and the world we know and love! I’m gutted this series is over, but their ending seems more than closure.
