My laptop picked the adapter up right away and it works perfectly with Rocksmith 2014 remastered. I'm just using it for bass right now, so to get around the slight amount of latency (it's just enough to hear), I run my bass and laptop headphone output to a stereo keyboard speaker (it has a stereo pass through output) then pass only the bass on the right channel to the usb adapter so the laptop uses that to feed into Rocksmith. I have the bass audio turned down in the game to keep it from sounding weird being doubled. It works perfectly and now my hand is too sore to practice anymore today.If I run into issues I'll update the review, but I'm very happy on day one.

I bought this to replace an Ubisoft cable, so I thought I should start with that.It has clear sound and none of the cracking/popping noises of the Ubi-RealTone cable, so that's an instant plus!It is incredibly light gauge, or flimsy feeling. But, as I mentioned, better sound so they must have done a better job with shielding the cable or the USB connection. I've also never had an issue with any other thin guitar cables actually breaking, so I'm not concerned about it. But as it only appears to be a standard cord I gave it 3/5 for that. May be harsh, but haven't done any real durability test.Slightly better price than Ubi-RealTone cable, but I KNOW one of those will break from regular use, so the fact that this has clear sound for less price makes it more valuable.And I'm glad to know there are working alternatives if Ubisoft ever decides to stop manufacturing replacements.

Replaced our UbiSoft guitar cord after buzzing and sound drop mid-song. This works on the PS5 as well as PS4. Rock on!

Have the cable with the orange end. It did not work initially. I had to go to the microphone settings and drop the rate to 1 channel, 16 bit 32000HX from a higher state. Also set the microphone input to 94%. Now it works GREAT. Better than the "R" cable in Yousician as it picks up all of my hammer ons and pull offs where the prior cable did not. I also have Rocksmith via steam. I never use it as i strongly prefer Yousician, but tried it with this cable to see if it works. No matter what i did it does NOT work in Rocksmith for me. Occasionally a signal gets through but rarely.So great for Yousician, not so much for Rocksmith.

All worked out well....happy with the purchase!

I get a little more noise compared to real tone cable. Great for backup. Hopefully they will get better

i bought this for rocksmith after my real tone cable broke. plugged it in and it came up as realtone cable but im not sure if thats because i had a realtone before and it simply is using the realtone drivers. if u havent had a realtone cable u can still use it download rsmods installgo to set and forget tabsmisc then enable direct coneect modesave and exit rs mods and open rosksmithhit ctrl set to direct connect mode and choose the cable from the avaible input listthis will work have tried both way enjoy i hope this helps my fellow players out

Lo compre pensando probarlo en el juego Rocksmith 2014 remastered ya que tiene una opción de usar cable genérico pero oh sorpresa, el cable al conectarlo a mi laptop (Windows11) no necesito ningún driver, lo reconoció como el cable original (Real Tone Cable que ya tenía). El cable esta hecho de 2 partes, el jack de 1/4 en la guitarra a jack 3.5 macho y la otra parte jack 3.5 hembra a usb.El cable se nota de menor calidad comparado al original pero por el precio se entiende aunque tampoco es malo. En el juego el sonido lo escucho igual al original, no noté diferencia, tampoco tuve problemas en detección de notas durante las canciones ni durante la afinación.

Fue una gran compra, el repartidor medio dormido no daba con mi ubicación pero todo bien, es de gran apoyo ese accesorio.
