Great Furby...anxiously awaiting new content!
So this is the first Furby I have had since the original. I got that one for Christmas when I was in eighth grade. This was a gift to myself. The Furby is named Dee-Doh (dude) and has already needed batteries replaced because I play with it so much! I use it both with the app and standalone. For the Furby: The toy is a good size...quite a bit bigger than the original and the Boom series. The fur is very soft. The sensors work very well and respond as expected. When the batteries are new, Dee-Doh gets a bit excited and falls over a lot even when placed on a level surface. This goes away as the batteries lose charge. The mask is convenient, especially when transporting the Furby. I had no issues updating or connecting with my phone. For the App: There is a lot there already and I have not had many issues overall. The app does seem to tax my phone and it is a brand new Android. It has crashed once or twice. The furblings are adorable and fairly easy to care for. The interactions Dee-Doh has while playing are appropriate but repetitive. I imagine this will improve as he and the app are updated.Overall, this toy is a win. The interaction is lively and amusing. The mask is convenient and much appreciated. Content needs to improve, but that is really my only complaint.Update! I love Dee-Doh so much that I had to get him a friend now that the price has come down so much. Picked up the coral orange color and they have hysterical conversations. Way-Doh (Sunset Dreamer) is a bit louder than Dee-Doh but I also haven't tried them with fresh batteries at the same time. I do wish there were other face mask colors so I could have them be a bit more individual. Very pleased overall. Content updates over time have been consistent and have really added to the play value. I recommend the furby connect to everyone haha.

A Great Furby!
Now, I was originally hesitant to buy this, I was thinking it would just be the same as the Furby BOOM! but cuter, which would've been disappointing since those are my least favorite of the furbies. Now that I've gotten myself a pink one and played with it, I do not regret buying the Furby Connect one bit. While I do heavily dislike that it has toilet humor, I still really liked it, I even got addicted to the app before getting the toy! Unlike with others, my furby worked perfectly fine and had very fluffy fur. Furby Connect is definitely superior to the Hatchimal. It has a lot of things to do with the app that makes it's playtime last longer while the Hatchimal just gets boring once it hatches and gets to it's final stage and will probably never be played again after that, while a furby connect will likely entertain for many months. As a 12 yr old who is part of the age audience this is aimed for, I'd definitely recommend a furby connect for people who collect furbies or just like em in general.

Great toy for young child!
My 7 yo loves this toy! I was looking to get a Hatchimal for xmas but they were sold out. So I looked into an alternative and found Furby. The app is a huge hit, as is all of the potty humor (Furby farts and burps a lot and poops strange things into the toilet on the app). I like that Furby has updates. I keep hearing that Furby has learned a new song, and it's voice is cute. I haven't sat down to explore the toy, but it was such a hit, we bought a second one for birthday time. They are loud together, but they will interact with each other. They perform together by singing and dancing a choreographed routine. It's adorable.

They are super adorable toys
I bought 9 of these for Christmas gifts for my kids, nieces/nephews. They are super adorable toys. 2 stopped working shortly after playing with them. Eyes went solid black (which happens when the batteries die) and never turned on again after a battery change and another wont go the hell to sleep even with it's mask on which is super annoying especially at 3 am when you wake up to a farting Furby? Haha. Amazon sent placements out right away. Only reason Im giving 4 stars is because the battery life with these are awful which I read in other reviews as well. Batteries last for about a day maybe two if they aren't played with a lot but my kids love these and play with them often so we go through batteries so fast.I have kids from 18 months-12 years old that got one and they have all enjoyed them. The app that you install is a fun game. The kids played it for a few days then lost interest but you dont really need it to enjoy the Furbys. They are hilarious and we have spent hours laughing at these guys. They do fart and burp A LOT which I think is weird for a kids toy to do but the kids get a kick out of it. I highly recommend these toys IF you're okay spending hundreds of dollars on batteries or own rechargeable ones.

Kid approved
My 3 year old loves her Furby.. I think the most entertaining part is that her brother has one and the two furbies talk to each other. My son (6) gets more enjoyment out of his furby because he plays the app and interacts more with his furby in a way my 3 year old doesn't. Both are very happy with their Furby and enjoy them! When the 2 furbys talk and sing, both kids laugh and dance and for a few minutes stop fighting!! As a parent, I'd be lying if I said they weren't annoying... but they are amusing.

Super Cute BUT...
This Furby was a Christmas 2016 present from Santa for my six year old daughter. The Furby is adorable and great fun, but I am knocking off two stars for two reasons.Reason 1: We cannot use the Furby Connect app with her iPad 2. Whaaaaa?? It is simply not compatible. We can give someone a bionic arm but I can't run the Connect app on an older iPad? Boo.Reason 2: This thing eats through batteries like potato chips! One set of Duracell didn't even last twenty four hours (and Furby was sleeping half the time).Other than that, my six year old LOVES it and she's very happy.Did I mention this thing also POOPS in the potty provided by the Connect app? A full on turd with green gas fumes. Oh Lord.
