What a great, well designed dish rack. Looks neat and works perfectly.
The media could not be loaded. First of all let me say we bought this dish rack with our own money, so this review is completely unbiased! This is a brilliantly designed dish drainer. It has completely solved the problem we had of standing water on our worktop! The product arrived very well packaged and protected. Full marks there. On opening the box, the product felt like it was well made and good quality. I had high hopes that it would finally solve our problem....Our problem is that our custom-made kitchen worktop came with 5 completely useless grooves that are supposed to drain water back to the sink ... but they don't work! So we always had a problem of water pooling under any regular dish racks we tried. So we found a plastic drainer in IKEA, but that turned out to be too small, and water still spilled onto the worktop.Next we tried a silicone draining mat that was supposed to drain back into the sink but it didn't drain well at all. Dishes never dried properly and water always found its way underneath the mat where it would stay for days, creating a potential breeding ground for bacteria. Yuk!We then bought a Brabantia dish drainer. We used to have one of their excellent bins (we gave it to my parents when we bought our new kitchen as that came with an integrated bin). My parents are still using it and it must be 20 years old and it is still perfect...and they love it. So I had hoped the Brabantia dish rack would be the same... Sadly not. Although solidly built, and attractive to look at, the draining "spout" was far too wide and not long enough, so it wouldn't fit over the ledge of our smaller sink. It was returned. Then finally after much research, we found this one... It is the FIFTH dish rack we have tried, and it is the best one by far...The product design is excellent. The adjustable spout works really well and has sufficient reach to ensure ALL water drains right into the sink, and doesn't end up on the worktop. Fantastic. You can keep the product in its compact state under normal use, and it's still a decent size that doesn't take up too much space. But when you have lots of dishes to wash, you simply slide out the extra tray with the wine glass holder attached, and it makes it into a very large rack that is perfect if you need to dry larger items like pans. The product offers lots of flexibility, too. You can rotate the spout 360 degrees so you can have it sat horizontally or vertically next to your sink. The wine glass drainer is a great idea, and can also be used to dry your rubber gloves and dish cloth after you've finished the dishes (see photo). The cutlery holder can be fitted to the back or to the sides, depending on your preference. There is also a detachable plastic coated holder for 4 cups or glasses. This can be used on either end of the rack. One minor criticism of this glass holder is that if you attach it at the "spout end" of the rack, water from any cups or glasses doesn't drain onto the tray, so you must then position the end of the tray very close to your sink to stop water from these 4 glass holders dripping onto your worktop. However, if you attach it at the "wine glass holder end", it will then drain onto the tray so, but then it takes away some space for other dishes. It's only a minor criticism and to be honest we don't really use this accessory, as we just put cups and regular glasses straight onto the rack. The choice is yours if you want to use it or not though, which is great. The product is made from aluminium which won't rust, and has rubber feet so no danger of scratching your worktops.Aluminium is lightweight but not as strong as stainless steel. The product feels well built and sturdy. The aluminium rails do flex a little, if you put excessive force on them, but under normal use I think they are strong enough to last a very long time.It would be nice to have the option of a stainless steel version in the same design, though. If the manufacturer, Kingrack, reads this, please take note!I never thought I would get so enthusiastic over a dish rack! We've had years of frustration of constantly having a worktop with little puddles of water everywhere, and water sometimes even draining onto the floor, simply because the worktop designer/ manufacturer didn't consider how people actually use sinks and worktops in practical life. This product has finally solved our problem.Well done, and "thank you" to the designer of this rack for designing a very practical, sturdy and attractive product.Highly recommended!

Good quality. Sturdy, with great extending feature
A little bit a guessing, finally got it all together and pleased with the quality. Fairly well thought out design. The cutlery rack fits really well on the outside edge of the rack, so doesn’t take up drying space in the body of the rack. The glasses/cup drying feature is also really excellent, keeping the items from falling over and again not taking up space on the body of the rack. The extending feature is really very useful and great for holding larger items. The knife holding slots, also mean that knives are safely drained, without the possibility of cutting anyone. Also, the draining (multi position), excess water spout it excellent. The design is not too bulky and with the additional extending feature, can be used for a large meal or just a few items; just what we needed for washing up on our boat. The only feature which I don’t like, is the inability to clean and dry the under draining tray, which over time I can see as an issue. If food gets trapped down there or puddles of water, I can’t easily remove or dry the area and the tray (once out together) can’t easily be removed to do this (or not which I have so far found… such a shame because otherwise I would whole heartedly, totally recommend this for any drying space.

Good product
Very lightweight drainer. Opted for the aluminium version after a lot if thought. Other reviewers have said that it doesn't seem very sturdy. Yes, the plate/dish supports don't seem strong on first sight but they really are strong enough to support our heavy Denby plates etc. Love the way the drainer extends. Very handy when needed. Also like the holder for wine glasses. This bit can be stored in the cupboard when we don't need it but it's useful for drying sponges etc too. Other users have said that the drainer base needs improvement. I would agree with that. If it was slightly angled it would drain better. Having said that, all I do is tip it when it's empty. That is the only reason I've rated it a 4 star and not 5. All in all its expensive for a drainer but would I buy it again? Yes.

Best Aluminium dish drainer !!
The perfect choice for any kitchen.Well made sturdy item. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Water draines well.Extended only when needed and it takes so much stuff on it as shown in my picture. When not extended, it is nice compact size.Just be aware that the item is not flat to the surface and it's a little high. I have the boiler cabinet above where I need to put the drainer so as you can see, the big dishes goes at the front whereas the smaller ones goes at the back as I have a hight issue, so check before you buy it that it will fit ok. I am keeping mine as I really like it. Also the Aluminium part can be easily scratched where you add your dishes so be gentle when using it . Very happy with the product and highly recommended and well worth the money 😊👍

Good idea, tricky to clean
This gives a lot of drying space, and the adjustable size works well and looks good. It drained conveniently into the sink. It is very difficult to keep clean without dismantling it completely, which is a faff. I've tried a selection of long handled brushes to reach the base where the residue sits, but it's hard to get to the nooks and crannies.
