After experiencing heavy rainfall for the past few days, I decided to purchase the water barrier strip to protect my Model 3 frunk. Upon receiving the product, I noticed that it came in three pieces, plus a weather strip, adhesive promoter wipes, and two extra clips. However, to my surprise, there were no instructions included in the packaging. Initially, I thought this was an oversight on the manufacturer's part, but I quickly realized that the product was so simple to install those instructions were unnecessary. Thanks to the intuitive design, I was able to easily assemble the three pieces and attach the weather strip to my frunk without any guidance. Additionally, I found helpful installation videos posted by other buyers on the seller's Amazon page, which further aided my understanding of how to use the product. Once I figured out which side went where, installation was a breeze. All I had to do was snap the pieces into place, and voila! My frunk was now fully protected from the rain. I appreciate the good quality of this product and am confident that it will serve its purpose well. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. It does exactly what it's designed to do. Despite the lack of instructions, the installation was straightforward and intuitive, and I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple and effective solution to protect their frunk from rain seepage.

Product is well constructed and easy to put into the car, however, it does not fit the 2023 model. There appears to be a Tesla implemented fix for the rain issue.

Before I bought this product, I was struggling to keep rainwater and car wash water from getting into the AC filters inside of the car. Because of that every couple of months I would get that musty, moldy smell, and would have to clean the coils because of the amount of water that leaks in without these. To be clear, if you have a Tesla model three and do not have these installed in place of the OEM parts it is a matter of time before you will get that stinky musty smell in your AC and have to change your filters and clean the coils. Since I have installed these, I have not had the issue anymore because they are effective at creating a barrier so that rainwater and car wash water no longer leak down into the AC/air intake. No more musty smell every two months. Tesla should really do away with the OEM parts installed at the factory and change them to this type of OEM part.

If I hadn't seen this item randomly on amazon it would not have crossed my mind, yet turns out it's a much needed component. NOTHING has gotten into my frunk, wether it be leaves or water. Highly recommend.
