This antenna worked well for me.
I am 60 miles from Chicago and I get channels 2, 5, 7, 9, 11, 26, 32, 50 and more with this antenna. I even get a couple Wisconsin channels on a clear day. I suggest installing this antenna as high as you can to receive a good signal. Also, I suggest using R6 cable with good shielding. I used a 'quad-shield' cable from RCA. It should protect you from signal interference from other wireless signals (i.e. wireless network internet). Good riddance to DirecTV; they are too expensive!

Antenna is NOT as advertised
This antenna claims to have a 150 mile range as well as being Omni Directional. If you're not familiar with the term, OMNI DIRECTIONAL let me clarify. that means that you don't have to point the antenna in any specific direction because it will receive signals equally no matter where it is pointed. I found that to be a crock. It most certainly does make a difference where the antenna is facing. Secondly, I found the 150 mile range to be a crock also. I have yet to receive the signal from a high wattage station being broadcast from 50 miles away. Maybe terrain could be the problem but I really doubt it because I received it with a different antenna with a 35 mile range in the past.I think I could have done better with a different antenna choice. To be fair, I do receive clear reception from other distant stations as long as the antenna is pointed in the right direction. Omni-directional,.... my ass......

Build with very cheap material, screws and nuts stripped had to buy from the store to be able to install it. Got less channels that a cheaper brand I had previously.

We live about 65 miles from Pittsburgh and the same from Erie, Pa. and are one of the three highest points in our county. 7 HD channels from Erie are all we could get. The day we tried using it the wind was blowing and the extended antenna was blowing back and fourth which showed up on our TV picture. When warmer weather comes I will use a stretch tie to tie down the extension part to see if it might help. But for now I went back to keeping our current TV provider.

Good - but there are better options available
My son has an antenna in his room that gave him great reception for being in the country. His is like 50 mile so we thought this 150 mile one would be so much better. After getting it on the roof we did get a few more changes then our sons. But nothing drastic. It’s there if we need it but we did end up buying an alternative.

I installed this going from our basement to the roof of our house. The 33 feet coax cable was sufficient. There were a few things I needed which were not provided, a ground wire, coax cable staples, plastic ties to pull the cable and ground wire together, a box in the wall, and a cover on the wall box designed for a cable. I found the install easy. The screws for the roof did a super job. After the installation, I did a TV scan and it came up with six stations. I am very pleased. And the clarity is fantastic!
