I like that these will hold a variety of shelf sizes. I used them for a 1/4" glass shelf, but they could hold a 1" wooden (or whatnot) shelf as well. These are not flimsy. They are a bit hard to mount because of the two piece design - but measure and mark carefully. Or make your own template. They should be sold with a template.
