High Quality, Easy to Install, Lightning Fast
My Alienware x15 laptop had a 512GB internal drive, ordered to keep the costs down. Unfortunately, with 4-5 good games installed, it is maxed out. Realizing it had a second SSD slot, I decided to add a second drive. Shopping around, I decided on the Crucial P310 2TB 2280 PCIe Gen4 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD. Crucial has been around a long time, they have a good reputation, and the $140 price tag was great for 2TB.But the joke was on me. Dell got cheap when they built my laptop, and installed two 256GB SSD's instead of a single 512GB. While technically I got what I paid for (512GB), they used up both drive slots, leaving no room for expansion. The dirty buggers. So after cursing Michael Dell and his perfect hairline, I said the heck with it, and decided to replace the small factory drives with the Crucial. But I didn't want to have to download a Windows boot disk and reinstall everything from the ground up. Luckily, EaseUS Disk Copy Pro software has been around for decades.First I had to connect the new drive. So I bought a Sabrent USB 3.2 Type-C Tool-Free Enclosure and installed the Cruicial drive in it. Then I installed EaseUS Disk Copy and followed the simple wizard to do a sector-by-sector copy on the laptop's drive to the USB external drive. It is so easy you almost feel guilty about it. In less than 30 minutes, I had the new Crucial drive installed in the enclosure, formatted, and had copied everything to it. I turned everything off, moved the Crucial to one of the available slots on the laptop, and it booted perfectly the first time. Like nothing had happened, except that I quadrupled my storage space. The new Crucial drive is responsive, and has lightning-fast transfer speeds. It was easy to install, so much that I regret not doing this a lot sooner. I have faith in the Crucial brand, as I think they have proven themselves over many years to have high quality products. I would definitely buy this again (and am already considering getting a second one for that other drive slot).

Worth the extra cost compared to no name brands. Stick with Quality like Crucial
I don't know why but I decided that buying something $30 dollars cheaper was a good idea and paid for my mistake and purchased this crucial drive instead. So I purchased another brand and installed and it was running hot at idle around 45C and only getting a third of the speed expected. Retuned that defect and purchased this drive and wow glad I did. Installed and right away ran speed test and speeds were exactly what was expected and this was running 27C at idle in the same slot that the other drive was in. Needed to basically replace an old 2TB spinning platter drive with something with quicker access speeds. It was instantly compatible with my 4.0 slot and functions at expected speed and runs cool even without a heat sink. Bottom line is stick with a good quality name brand like Crucial when it comes to your important data storage.

Easy to install, easy to clone and just as fast as the original OEM part.
Absolutely satisfied! 1TB NVme SSD replacement for my Lenovo Ideapad S340. I consulted Lenovo replacement parts but I was unable to locate their recommended drive. After some research, I landed on this drive. It seems be as fast as the OEM drive. I initially downloaded and tried Acronis True Image. It stated that it was free for 30 days, but the "free to use" did not include the imaging functionality! So I used Clonezilla software to image the Win 11 Home OS to the new 1TB drive. It worked great! Clonezilla is absolutely FREE and after watching a YouTube video, it was easy to step through. I purchased a UGREEN SSD Enclosure, Tool-Free USB C External, 10Gbps M.2 NVMe to USB Adapter in order to clone my Win 11 OS to the new drive. I recommend this tool. Once again, I sought out a YouTube video to familiarized me with the device's use. Simple! I bough the 1 TB drive to replace the original 512GB one because I loaded Linux Mint alongside Win 11. I prefer Linux to Windows bloatware and its seemingly untimely updates and subsequent reboots. I can use Linux apps for almost everything I do. Only on a rare occasion do I require Windows and that's the reason I keep it around.

Huge Speed Boost for My Laptop
I recently bought the Crucial P310 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD for my Dell Inspiron, which had been running painfully slow. Installing this SSD was surprisingly easy – just a quick swap and a clean install, and I was ready to go. It came with an Acronis cloning offer, but I opted for a fresh start.Right after installation, the difference was like night and day. Boot-up time is now just a few seconds, apps open instantly, and overall performance is smooth and responsive. The advertised speed of up to 7,100 MB/s is no joke – this drive delivers. If your laptop supports Gen4 NVMe and you're looking for a simple way to breathe new life into it, I highly recommend this drive. Great value, top performance, and easy setup!

My first NVME.
Not entirely sure what you need to know that you don't already. If you're looking at buying this, you're probably smarter than me.It was a good price from a reliable name in computer technology that I recognize and recommend. Crucial memory sticks and ssds have always been good to me. No reason to stop trusting a company that offers a reliable product at affordable prices.

Works well no it's not the fastest but better then most .,
I use it to so I can run Linux to test stuff with out having to open up my laptop or deal with partitioning the drive and having a dual boot os and yeah I know I can use ventoy With persistence if I want to be able to save anything I've done while using but I just prefer to have a completely separate dedicated drive and this one work Great ,the difference between using this drive in a USBc adapter case isn't that much slower for basic usage most people will nvr notice it ,ive ran Ubuntu 22 with my a VPN and playing movies on Kodi while backing itself up to a server all at the same time I'm not a big gamer but I was given a old USB PC joystick and played (attempted to play ) some war game that had a flight simulator..game played fine I was just really bad at it ,.....for the I'm pretty happy with it
