Glass is fascinating.

Wow, what an amazing book! Whether you love glass beads and lampwork or you just love beautiful art, I believe you will be thrilled with this book. This book is definitely not a 'how to' book for those who want to make beads, but it is sure to inspire you beyond your imagination. There are over 400 pages in this book with very little text, however each page contains one or two, large, full color, highly detailed photos with a caption giving you the name of the artist and a very brief description of their technique. There are hundreds of different artists featured in the book with just as many different styles.... and these are not merely 'glass beads', these are absolute works of art which left me in awe every time I turned the page. (By the way, the price of the book definitely belies the quality, I honestly was not expecting such a high caliber book for this price.)

Don't get me wrong, fabulous book, content, photos 1st class; however, after 2nd look thru, started falling apart at spine with pages loosening. So disappointed for that reason only.

Lovely, inspirational book. Some of the beads in this book are absolutely unbelievably beautiful. So far, I haven't gotten tired of looking at them every so often. I will see details I missed the first or second time I looked at it.

This book is beautifully orchestrated. It is a treasury of beads created by some of the finest lampwork artists from around the globe. My only regret is that I failed to contribute my work when asked by the publisher. It would have been an honor to be included with such masters in this art form! Hopefully next time!If you don't have this book, please make every effort to add it to your collection.

Love the book. My last copy was severely rain damaged and had to be replaced... This arrived in Perfect shape... it took time to get to Hawaii but well worth it. Thank you.

I am a beader, i.e. I make things with beads. This book celebrates the work of beadsmiths, the people who actually make the beads from scratch. It's not a technical book, so you won't be able to learn from here how it's done, but there are lots and lots of photographs showing glass beads in all their glory. A wonderful present for anyone who appreciates beautiful objects.

This is a fantastic book, lots of photos of lots of beads and a little bit of text about each one. This is a lovely book to drool over!!

Given as a present to my stepdaughter. She was very pleased with it.
