KitchenAid 2-Slice Toaster with Manual Lift Lever - KMT2115

Even toasting..none of the usual stripes. It browns evenly. . I ordered Contour Silver..great color..looks retro. This toaster is worth the money. I'm tired of junk. It is a solid appliance..not too heavy and not too lightweight. I checked many stores before I found this one on Amazon. Pay the extra money and buy a quality appliance...

Perfect for toasting and even has a bagel selection so I can toast on one side of the bagel. I paid a little more but so totally worth it. This takes me back to my childhood when we had high quality brand appliances that lasted forever. Will purchase again. Go with the tried and true brands. You can’t go wrong.

Works great, sturdy weight and nice look. A little pricey though.

The toaster feels very solid and looks good on the counter. Its actual toasting ability is not as good. It’s always darker on one side, and you dare not use settings above a 1 or it will burn. And why does it beep when it’s done?? The ka-CHUNK noise of the toast popping up is perfectly sufficient. Not fond of bagels and haven’t tried it for that.

I was happy with my little Cuisinart Toaster, which eventually failed. I replaced it with the updated model of the same Cuisinart Toaster, and it was junk out of the box. I searched high and low for the "best" toaster and came up with this KitchenAid. It is hardly better. I am on the hunt again.When I was a kid, the toaster had these little wires inside which glowed brightly, putting off the heat that toasted the toast. This KitchenAid the wires don't glow. It takes a while to make toast. But the worst part is one side is cooked hard, the other side not so much. And that's NOT on the bagel setting. Actually for bagels, this toaster is pretty good.If you examine all the standard toasters on the market, you will see that they all appear to come from the same factory in China. Same cheap stamped parts, same heating elements, etc. Many toaster buyers are now just buying the $11 toaster at Walmart and suffering with it, rather than a $60 or even $160 toaster with which one will, equally, suffer.It appears I will have to buy a commercial toaster (>$300) to have as good a toaster as my mom had for my entire life growing up in her home. I bet she STILL has that toaster. Something has changed.

Great product, easy to use

I love this beautiful and great working toaster. It was one of my birthday presents from my son. It's a nice upgrade from my other name brand toaster , which was not nearly as pretty and you had to depress the start button several times. This does not have those issues. Plus, it has a bagel setting and a 'cancel ' button also. It looks great on the counter!

Not what we expected from that brand !To start:It is uselessly huge for the capacity.The temperature or timer control is off for a lot, we had only been able to use it a the very low setting, and if use consecutively it will burn your bread.There is no way to clean the inside, the cleaning trade is pretty small, the you’ll have to shake the hell of it every time you want to get the crumbs out of it. All that crumb stock in there and the shaking must had cause to work even worse now a year and so after.Now, it doesn’t toast, it pop up few seconds from been turn on.Don’t waste your hard earned money on this, unless you want it just for display!
