This works for patella tendon stretched issues, it made me knee feel a lot better.
First, the large is VERY large, Unless you are a giant order the smaller one. Second, for comfort sew closed the openings for the strap that you are not using on the smaller side of the strap. It keeps the strap from collapsing into a ropelike tube that makes the Velcro come louse and start scratching at the back of your knee. It is a big help for walking, kneeling and general knee movement if you have had a knee issue where the tendon that keeps the patella from moving around stretched. I had near constant knee pain for 3 and a half years before I got this. Now I walk with little or no pain.

By far the best knee brace
This is my 3rd purchase of this item. I weigh 97 lbs and have the worst time finding knee, arm and elbow braces, they are all to big! this one has 3 slits to adjust to your size. As it stretches out over time, I can just make it tighter by using the 3rd slit. The velcro has lasted and is very secure. The comfort is off the charts and it is not bulky.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE THIS BRACE MAKES!
I've been dealing with left knee pain, weakness, and instability for most of the last 2 years. I've been advised that a total knee replacement is likely in my foreseeable future. In the meantime, I decided that I needed a solution that would help me get a bit more life out of the existing joint. Upon receiving this brace 6 days ago, I immediately set to using it when doing my Fall yard work. What a difference it made! My lack of "trust" in the joint dissolved after one afternoon of wearing it during yard work. I was very pleasantly surprised at having NO pain during the 4 hours I spent doing the yard work. The weakness and instability that I'd grown to accept as "the way things were" were GONE! Even after finishing the yard work and removing the brace, I experienced none of the "I guess I over-did it" regrets that have followed ANY significant use of the joint. I also have less "joint fatigue" after using the brace, whether going for a walk, doing yard work, or any other activity that would previously challenged me and sent me to the medicine chest for Advil of Tylenol. It has been a breeze to put on and remove and it has totally lived up up to the expectations I had from reviewing the original posted information on Amazon. My best take-away is knowing that I've regained mobility and perhaps even have found a solution that will delay a visit with a surgeon for a total knee replacement. THANK YOU!

It keeps slipping down
It was not helpful at all after trying it 3x. It lacks anti-slip grips so it keeps slipping down after walking a bit or going up/down the stairs, I tried it both on bare legs and on top of pants, same result. It was distracting/annoying because I'm having to slip it back in place while in the middle of walking, and if my hands are full I have to find a place to sit and adjust it.. It was also uncomfortable at the back of the knee because I wrapped it so tight in my attempt to keep it from slipping but it causes pain behind my knee after a while and restricts blood flow. It would have been perfect if it had anti-slip grips at the top and bottom of the brace.

Bulky Fit and Doesn't Stay in Place
I had high hopes for this patella-support knee brace, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me. While the materials seemed durable and the concept was promising, the design ultimately fell short in a couple of key areas.First, the brace was uncomfortably bulky behind the knee. The material from the two straps gathered and bunched up whenever I bent my leg, which made it hard to wear for extended periods—especially during activity or exercise. Second, the oval-shaped opening around the kneecap didn’t provide the kind of stable support I was looking for. Instead of staying in place, the brace kept slipping down, no matter how I adjusted it. I’ve had better luck with braces that use a circular patella opening, which seem to offer more consistent alignment and hold.I ended up returning this brace and going back to my old one. While this might work for someone with different needs or anatomy, it just wasn’t the right fit for me.

Supportive
I purchased this because I’m recovering from a serious knee injury. Almost 4 months ago, I tore my MCL and meniscus in my right knee. The doctor said no surgery so I’ve been doing PT, and that has helped a lot. While I’m getting better, I feel like I still need an extra something to stabilize my knee more when I’m up and about. I had many knee braces but nothing small like this one. The other ones are good but since I’m moving better now they restrict my range of motion more. This brace is way smaller but it is still supportive. I like that it comes apart and you can adjust it to your liking. It’s also not bulky like the rest and I can wear it under my pants. I’m a mail carrier and I’m probably going to go back to work soon so I need all the support I can get. This brace holds my knee cap in place when I’m moving and I like that it has this little cushion around the knee opening. I wear a lot of leggings too and this fits perfectly on the outside of the leggings. A good knee brace at a good price. Because I got this one brace from the doctor and that cost $170, and I feel like this brace works better, because it offers the support I need without restricting my range of motion. Good buy.
